How do I become part of BECC?

General contractors and sub contractors with a good loss history are encouraged to become part of BECC/State Fund Group 571 and participate in the group benefits. Participants must become members of a participating builders exchange. Ask your insurance broker about group participation or call your local builders exchange manager for more information.

Is there any obligation on my part?

BECC membership is entirely voluntary and involves no obligation other than maintaining a safety plan, complying with SB198 and running a safe job site. The BECC does not allow contractors with poor safety practices and high losses to remain in the group.
