The Builders Compensation Council (BECC)
is a California Corporation formed by six local builders exchanges. The BECC was created to assist contractors with economical and well-managed worker’s compensation insurance.


The BECC is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of six builders exchange managers and twelve contractors. We work closely with State Fund to do this. We are State Fund’s Group 571.

  • Review of open claims twice each year to prevent over-       reserving of claims and promptly close claims before the      state filing deadline.

  • Safety training and resources.

  • Safety inspections and advice.

  • A reduction in premium.

  • A monthly review of open claims over $5,000.

workers’ compensation insurance policy or to misrepresent the conditions of dividend payment. Dividends are payable only pursuant to conditions determined by the Board of Directors or other governing board of the Company following policy expiration.It is a misdemeanor for any insurer or office or agent thereof, or any insurance broker or solicitor, to promise the payment of future workers’ compensation dividends. Past dividend performance is no guarantee of an insurer’s future dividend performance.”
